Children’s Miracle Network at UC Davis invites you to SacAnime to play games and heal kids

Do you know where “fans come to play”? SacAnime! This pop-culture entertainment event features anime, manga and so much more, including a chance for you to sign up for Extra Life to support kids hospitalized at UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

SacAnime began as an extension of the quarterly Comic, Toy and Anime Show (SAC-CON) which has been running in Sacramento since 1986. Now, SacAnime is a semi-annual, three-day convention which offers a fun, safe, family friendly environment. The show runs Friday through Sunday, Jan. 4-6, at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento and Sacramento Convention Center Complex.

SacAnime includes everything from costume and fashion, to interactive events and contests. Look for CMN at UC Davis’ Extra Life booth and discover how you can play games and heal kids! Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $40 million for sick and injured kids. Sign up at SacAnime or online and dedicate a day of play for kids in UC Davis Children’s Hospital’s 33-county service area.
