Local Dairy Queen franchisees cross-promote to build awareness, take pre-orders for Miracle Treat Day

Dairy Queen (DQ®) operators in Sacramento take Miracle Treat Day very seriously. That’s why local operators Sukhi Khangura and Laurie Matthews are teaming up to promote this annual event which benefits their local Children’s Miracle Network hospital, UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

Media partner ABC10 spoke with these dedicated franchisees about their long-time commitment to Miracle Treat Day, which takes place this year on Thursday, Aug. 2. These operators from Roseville and Orangevale, together with all Sacramento-area DQ® locations, are committed to 100 percent participation for Miracle Treat Day 2018.

Miracle Treat Day pre-orders were delivered to nurses at UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

For every Blizzard Treat sold, $1 or more will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) at UC Davis. In addition, this market area partnership worked with CMN at UC Davis to deliver pre-orders to hospital staff. This effort raised additional funds and helped prepare everyone for the upcoming Blizzard.

This is another example of CMN’s amazing corporate partners stepping up to help hospitalized kids, as well as an illustration of local business owner commitment to UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Stop by Sacramento-area DQ® locations on Aug. 2 to enjoy a Blizzard Treat!
