Putting your money where the miracles are: “Liquid Gold”

There’s gold in them thar hills! Or rather, in a special machine funded by Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) at UC Davis Children’s Hospital donations.

The new Miris human milk analyzer machine helps determine what nutrients may be missing from breast milk so it can be fortified to support growth and brain development in premature infants. With the purchase of the CMN-funded milk analyzer, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team launched “liquid gold”, a campaign to inform NICU families about the importance of breast milk and the advances now available at UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
