“We are grateful for our continued partnership with Spirit Halloween,” said Diana Sundberg, manager of the Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department. “They continue to fund our child life fellowship and education program, which has helped us better serve all of the children within our hospital.”

Spirit Halloween raises money in stores and online to support the UC Davis Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department, which helps to minimize the anxiety of hospitalization, increase understanding and strengthen coping skills for children. The donations to UC Davis Children’s Hospital provide training and supervision for individuals aspiring to be certified child life specialists. In 2019, the stores donated nearly $72,000 to UC Davis Children’s Hospital’s Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department.
