The ABCs of CMN: “F” is for sick and injured kids having a chance at a FUTURE. Like Avery.

It was several years ago she died. Several times.

A precocious toddler, Avery snuck outside and fell into the pool where she was found floating face down. But after life-saving efforts, weeks in UC Davis Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (funded with help from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals donors) and comprehensive physical therapy, guess where Avery is now? Celebrating her 4th birthday and her FUTURE!
