THE ABCS OF CMN: “N” is for NICU Webcams

Social distancing has become part of the fabric of our lives. In the absence of seeing one another face to face, we have had to rely on technology to connect us with family and friends. It makes a difference to be able to see one another, right?

Such is the same for families whose babies are in UC Davis Children’s Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). NICU stays are often very long and parents are pulled away to care for other children. When mom and dad can’t be with their child at bedside, these webcams provide a much needed connection.
