If you were in and out of the hospital for weeks at time being treated for a chronic illness, imagine how hard it would be. Then, think if you were only five years old. Or maybe 10. Even if you were a teenager it would still be frightening. How would you handle it?

UC Davis Hospital’s Child Life & Creative Arts Therapy team helps patients handle it … sometimes with a little canine cuddle.
