Helping kids be kids – GameStop partners with CMN

GameStop is teaming with Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals and Make-a-Wish to help local kids get back to being kids. Donations will be accepted at GameStop stores and online at GameStop.com through Sept. 30.

One hundred percent of funds raised will be equally distributed to CMN Hospitals and Make-A-Wish to help kids going through treatment or grant wishes. This is the first year CMN has been included in the GameStop Gives initiative, now in its sixth year.

GameStop guests can give a number of ways, including donating at the register or rounding up their purchase. Plus, PowerUp Rewards members will receive triple PowerUp Rewards points on the donation amount and they can then donate points in the PowerUp Rewards Center.

In addition, the “Trade In for Charity” option allows guests to donate up to 100 percent trade-in value on unused video game hardware, software, accessories or consumer electronics.

“The funds raised by GameStop’s initiatives will impact pediatric care for more than 10 million children treated each year at local CMN Hospitals throughout the country and we are very grateful for their support,” said John Lauck, president and CEO of CMN Hospitals.
