Play video games to help sick/injured children on Extra Life Game Day

Extra Life Game Day is back. Join local gamers Saturday, Nov. 6 when they participate in this annual Extra Life event to raise funds for UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

Extra Life is one of several Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN) programs helping fundraise for children treated at member hospitals. The program allows participants to play video games and raise funds through an online fundraising page that can be customized to support UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Funds stay local to benefit sick and injured children in 33 local counties.

Two couples play video games with their children, having fun.
Local funds raised on Extra Life Game Day game stay in the area.

Children’s hospitals like UC Davis Children’s Hospital are on the front lines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations, but they can’t do it alone. As a gaming hero for kids, you’re helping change kids’ health and change the future.

You can fundraise however best works for you, but the first step is to register. Simply sign up, commit to play games on any day of your choosing – or over a few days – and ask your family and friends to support your efforts. Extra Life has provided suggestions to help you get started. You can also download and use Extra Life themed holiday fundraising assets for Game Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, December/winter and New Year’s Eve.
