Children’s Miracle Network Care-a-thon listeners show how much they care, donations total $170,304

Entravision 1Sacramento’s Entravision radio stations teamed up for the annual Children’s Miracle Network Care-a-thon, which raised a total of $170,304 to support pediatric programs, equipment, research and patient care at UC Davis Children’s Hospital. The event is part of the annual CMN Hospitals Entravision Radiothon.

The 2018 Care-a-thon took place over three days in August on Spanish stations Radio La Suavecita 104.3, La Tricolor 99.9 and 100.9 and Super Estrella 98.9 and English stations Hot 103.5 KHHM-FM and 101.9 The Wolf  KNTY-FM. Hot 103.5 and The Wolf broadcasted live from the new Children’s Surgery Center at UC Davis Children’s Hospital druing one day of the Radiothon. Combined, the two English stations raised $42,682 and the Spanish stations generated $127,622, making Sacramento the #3 top fundraising Spanish market in the nation for this CMN event behind Los Angeles and Denver.
